Name any street in the City of Albany and you will find potholes. Thanks to the crazy Northeast weather, potholes are a given. Channel 13 and 10 both have Pothole patrols and there is even an interactive map for those of you serious about avoiding them. Every day I drive in the city between Albany High School and St Peter’s Hospital and I swerve and bounce along. South Main St gets my vote for the worst. DGS maintains over 670 streets in Albany. I’m not writing this Blog to complain about the city and street maintenance, I have no doubt they are doing the best. I’m trying to make light of a bumpy situation. Enjoy the video.
