Road Rage

Image
Ben accused me of Road Rage.  "I read about it in my Driver's Manual and I think you have it."  I wanted to scream.  We were running 30 minutes late for his soccer game because he forgot his soccer shoes and we were stuck in a huge traffic jam.  Of course I was angry and yes, I did beep my car horn at a car who stopped at a green light for no apparent reason after waiting through 3 cycles of red lights just to get to the intersection and yes, I did say bad words while verbalizing my irritation, but I don't think it qualifies as "Road Rage". " Road rage  is aggressive or angry behavior by a driver of an automobile or other motor vehicle. Such behavior might include rude gestures, verbal insults, deliberately driving in an unsafe or threatening manner, or making threats. Road rage can lead to altercations, assaults, and collisions which result in injuries and even deaths. It can be thought of as an extreme case of  aggressive driving ."  Wikape...

My Shitty Week

I hit some speed bumps this week. All I want to do is lose myself in something other than food and shopping, but the sun is still behind the clouds, the rain is still smacking me in the face and the wind is still blowing me over. So it's my BLOG and I'm going to unload my shitty week here.  I just need to get it out.  I don't need anyone to fix it, comfort me or worry, I just need to get it out.  Hugs, however, are always acceptable. I got played by my ex husband and my son and while they have both probably moved on, especially Ben, I feel bullied, used and just plain bad.  Name calling is just dumb, but it hurts to be called "rotten to the core" and a "fucking stupid bitch".  What are we twelve?  I am so done with having an ex husband.  We are so bad at communicating with each other, that things build until they erupt into a vile pit of hatred.  All I want to know is if he is going to ever see Ben again and if he will contribute any money to t...

More Random Thoughts

Random thoughts part II. I bought new shoes today.  Originally priced at 49.99, they were on sale for 39.99.  I had a $5.00 off coupon and a 20% off coupon.  They were a boys size four.  The equivalent pair in size six women's was $89.99.  It's good to have little feet. Never, ever switch lines at the grocery store or Walmart when the cashier is slow.  It's bad karma and the next cashier will also have problems.  Just be patient, shut up and wait your turn. DMV is always a bad place to visit no matter the reason, day of the week or time of day.  Putting my car in a too little space starts the annoyance right from the get go.  Waiting in line to get a number and so I can wait in another line to get another number makes it even worse.  Ben getting his Learner's Permit made the wait worth it. Ben is spending a lot of time with a girl who is "not my girlfriend". Girlfriends equal drama and I hate drama.  I hope they don't break ...

Random Thoughts

I have lots of stuff on my mind, but none large or long enough for a Blog.  But here goes, pretty random, but that's my life. I just dropped off a bunch of clothes to Hong Kong Tailors for hemming, 3 pants and 2 dresses.  The tailor/seamstress was an Indian woman.  I had to glance at the sign over the door again on my way out to make sure where I was.  I am capable of doing it myself but didn't want to.  That lack of ambition will cost me $60 bucks. My NCAA bracket is a waste of scrap paper, at least I think it is because I can't find it anywhere.  The Florida Gulf Coast team was fun to watch and Wichita State is shocking and they both messed me up!  I know I picked Louisville to win it all and who doesn't want them to win now after Kevin Ware broke his leg. Speaking of gore, The Walking Dead concluded last night, thank God.  I can't believe I watch the show religiously every Sunday night.  It is disgusting, all that blood and guts ever...
