Random Thoughts
I have lots of stuff on my mind, but none large or long enough for a Blog. But here goes, pretty random, but that's my life.
I just dropped off a bunch of clothes to Hong Kong Tailors for hemming, 3 pants and 2 dresses. The tailor/seamstress was an Indian woman. I had to glance at the sign over the door again on my way out to make sure where I was. I am capable of doing it myself but didn't want to. That lack of ambition will cost me $60 bucks.
My NCAA bracket is a waste of scrap paper, at least I think it is because I can't find it anywhere. The Florida Gulf Coast team was fun to watch and Wichita State is shocking and they both messed me up! I know I picked Louisville to win it all and who doesn't want them to win now after Kevin Ware broke his leg.
Speaking of gore, The Walking Dead concluded last night, thank God. I can't believe I watch the show religiously every Sunday night. It is disgusting, all that blood and guts everywhere. I spend most of the show wondering how they take a shower. The rest of the time, I spend worrying about Carl. Not only has the boy character become a psychopath on the show, growing up while acting in the series is enough to make you one in real life. Poor Carl. My new favorite show is The House of Cards. You can see it on Net Flix. If you like West Wing, this is five times better. Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright are terrific.
I am writing this while watching opening day baseball for my beloved Red Sox as they play the mean, evil, hated Yankees. It's a new season with a new coach, so much to hope for. Kevin Youkilis in a Yankee uniform without facial hair is just wrong. 4-0 Red Sox in the second inning, is just right. The Red Sox Nation deserves a good season after last year.
My ex husband and his wife went on an adult only vacation to Florida on school spring break leaving Ben with me. They are going to Sea World and Busch Gardens. Really. Enough said.
All this on a Monday, wow. It's raining, what did you expect?
